79 chevy truck auto to manual swap

I did this swap on a 79 C It was so easy for me cause I went from a 3 speed manual and I had a parts truck. The only thing I had to do was get a flex plate for the engine and the kick down cable bracket for the transmission. I just bolted the 2 shift levers together and used one of the levers to shift the transmission. The shift indicator is an easy swap, escpecially on a Remove the gauge trim thingy, and the clear cover on the bezel and the indicator will come right off. There is no need to swap columns.
